Welcome to Deep South Entertainment website.  Deep South Entertainment was founded in 1995 by college friends Andy Martin and Dave Rose, Deep South began operating as a small independent record label working out of the third bedroom of their apartment.  Deep South quickly obtained national recognition through their compilation CDs that featured up and coming talent.  In the first few years of operation, Deep South released songs or records for artists that would achieve Billboard-charting status such as Marcy Playground, Five for Fighting, The Marvelous 3 (Butch Walker), Sister Hazel, Athenaeum, Far Too Jones, and SR-71.



















Around 1998, Deep South began expanding heavily into artist management, handling over the years careers for such Grammy-winning and Billboard-charting artists as: Bruce Hornsby, Little Feat, Stryper, Vienna Teng, SR-71, Allison Moorer, Lee Roy Parnell, The Warren Brothers, The Subdudes, and more.
















Today, Deep South continues to operate as a record label and artist management firm, and has now grown to handle concert and event production as well.  Deep South is largely known in the Raleigh area for producing or co-producing some of the state's largest events including: The North Carolina Governor's Inaugural Ball, Downtown Live, Raleigh Wide Open, The NC International Auto Expo, The NC Ag Jam, The Chamber of Commerce 'Raleigh to Nashville' excursion, and many more.  Deep South also operates as an international concert event company having produced shows in Jamaica, Bahamas, Spain, and Puerto Rico. 

Under the Deep South umbrella falls a number of diverse music and talent based divisions including merchandising and on-line fulfillment, video production, booking agency, and even a neighborhood bar in downtown Raleigh.

Deep South continues to be based in downtown Raleigh, NC with a second office in Nashville, TN.
