Lounge Fly
Cheltenham, United Kingdom

2009 was an impressive first year for this explosive, female-fronted, six-piece from Gloucestershire. Debut E.P 'Seven Simple Sins' (released Jan 2009), and follow up E.P ‘Lap it Up’ (released Oct ’09) received excellent national press from the likes of NME, Black Velvet Magazine, Devolution Magazine, Room Thirteen, BBC Introducing and air play on over sixty radio stations including Planet Rock. Rick Wakeman played several tracks on his saturday morning show, describing the band as 'Outstanding.'
Lounge Fly were personally invited to play at Cambridge University May Ball, perform as support for InMe’s Dave Mcpherson, and appear at numerous small festivals around the UK. They also won through to the England National Final of the Global Battle of The Bands, performing at The Asylum in Birmingham in November.
2010 sees the band embarking on some exciting gigs the length and breadth of the UK, producing their second music video 'Broken', and writing and recording new material with plans to release their third E.P in the summer.
